What is Shopwave?
Shopwave is your personal mobile shopping companion that rewards you with Wavepoints before and after you spend at our participating outlets. You can get Wavepoints via Step-in, Tag- It, Explore & Grab-It.
What is the function of the Member ID barcode?
The Member ID barcode is to be presented during transaction or payment at our participating outlets to earn your Wavepoints. Don’t forget this step to ensure your Wavepoints are collected.
How do I register?
Sign-up with Shopwave easily using your Facebook account or an email account. You will need to provide your basic information to get started.
How do I edit my profile info?
Go to Member’s Info. Click on the user icon above at the top right corner of the app & click on Member’s Info to edit your profile.
How do I see my Wavepoints information?
You can always see your total Wavepoints on the top of the app. For further details, click on the user icon & click on Account Summary to see the breakdown of your Wavepoints.
What is My Wallet?
This is where all the freebies and redemption items that you have will be stored. It can be used at a later date. Only valid freebies and redemption items will be stored.
How do I get Wavepoints?
There are 4 ways to get Wavepoints:-
Step-In: You will be rewarded Wavepoints daily whenever you step-in at our participating outlets. You are required to switch on your Bluetooth, location settings(GPS)*, and active Internet connection to enable Shopwave to reward you your Wavepoints.
Grab-It: You will be rewarded Wavepoints whenever you spend at our participating outlets. Flash your Member ID Barcode to the cashier during payment to collect Wavepoints. You will receive a notification from Shopwave after the cashier has scanned your barcode.
Every ringgit spent entitles you to 1 Wavepoint.
Example: If you scan your member barcode with a bill of RM65 you would get 65 Wavepoints. A purchase of RM200.80 will get you 200 Wavepoints
Explore: You will be rewarded Wavepoints if you have successfully found the hint by our participating partners.
Tag-It: Wavepoints will be credited to you upon scanning the barcode of certain products involve in the Tag-It campaign. Upon successfully scanning the product barcode you will be granted Wavepoints instantaneously.
Where can I collect my Wavepoints?
You can get your Wavepoints at any of our participating outlets. Few simple steps to follow:
- On the Home Screen, click on ‘Get Points’ to see the list of participating outlets.
- After selecting a particular outlet, click on the nearest outlet tab, to know the nearest outlets to you, and also the types of Wavepoints that you can collect.
Will I get my Wavepoints immediately after making a purchase?
Step In: Yes
Tag It: Yes
Grab It: Wavepoints will be credited to your account after 14 days from your transaction date.
What if I didn’t receive my Wavepoints?
This could possibly be due to a few factors:
In order for Wavepoints to be automatically received, please turn on location settings (Android-on High accuracy) (iPhone – always on for app) & Bluetooth connection & you have active internet connection.

How do I collect Freebies?
- Go to Freebies
- Browse through the list of freebies.
- Click on the Freebie you want. Then click on ‘Keep in My Wallet’ if you intend to redeem the Freebie item for later use or click on ‘Use Now’ button to redeem Freebie upon ordering. Flash the barcode to the service staff.
How do I redeem a Freebies?
You may redeem the Freebie in the participating outlet upon ordering. You will need to flash the barcode. The management of the participating outlet reserves the right to not serve the Freebie, or to charge it at full price, if the terms and conditions are not adhered to.
How do I redeem a gift or a voucher from the redemption section?
- Go to Redemption
- Browse the Gifts or Vouchers tab to see what are you entitled to. The Wavepoints needed is listed in red.
- Click on the Nearest Outlets tab & the Details tab for the instructions and terms and conditions.
- Click on the Redeem button if you have sufficient Wavepoints. A message will notify you if have insufficient Wavepoints.
Missing Gifts and/or Vouchers?
Certain Gifts and/or Vouchers may have been phased out overtime, hence you no longer see those in My Wallet section.
What is Buy-It?
Buy-It enables you to pre-purchase deals from our participating brands. Watch out for this space, we’ll keep you updated.

What is 'Phishing'?
Phishing is the attempt to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money) by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. Communications purporting to be from popular social web sites, auction sites, banks, online payment processors or IT administrators are commonly used to lure unsuspecting public.
Phishing emails may contain links to websites that are infected with malware. Phishing is typically carried out by email spoofing or instant messaging, and it often directs users to enter details at a fake website which looks and feels almost identical to the legitimate one.
How can I recognize if an email campaign or telephone call is fraudulent or legitimate?
Shopwave will never contact a user to ask for credit card, Personal Identification Number (PIN), bank or other personal account information. We remind you to protect your personal information, as well as your Shopwave ID and PIN, at all times.
Should you receive a phone call or email requesting any Shopwave ID, credit card, bank or personal information, do not respond. Instead, immediately call the Shopwave at +603 79551100 during our business hours.
We will investigate and contact the appropriate authorities.
